Maggie Mockingbird has a story of her own, being born the same day as Dr. Suess is no coincidence. With a lifelong dream of leaving some sort of memorable legacy behind. "If I've ever known anything it's that I was destined to be a wife & mother. With old-time values instilled in my heart and head, I dreamt of would I do more? I finally found my missing piece at the age of 39 when Little Luke came along & God filled my heart with a new song. The song is the One day at a time, Series." Momma always said, "inch by inch, it's all a cinch, by the yard it's hard." "I've found that to be very true & strive daily to let each day be as it right now, One day at a time."

The main character Little Luke is a little boy with a big personality! With a rough start, he is an overcomer. At just 3 months old Luke's parents tragically split up. Luke began his journey with sad home life or what most consider a broken home & a medical condition that lingered. It wasn't until Luke was 1-year old that his mom Maggie decided there had to be more. Through prayer & supplication, God sent us New Beginnings, it was here we stopped fearing being alone, Lukes's medical condition, or what tomorrow held. It was here that God sent peace, joy & a new future. Through the One day at time series, Little Luke journeys on memorable adventures and forgets the sadness of his past or the fear of his future.
